Wishers Foundation is an NGO in India directly benefitting over 250 children and their families every year, through live welfare projects on education, healthcare, livelihood and women empowerment. Running thier four centres in gwalior.

Doubtless, education is the most powerful catalyst for social transformation. But child education cannot be done in isolation. A child will go to school only if the family, particularly the mother, is assured of healthcare and empowered. Moreover, when an elder sibling is relevantly skilled to be employable and begins earning, the journey of empowerment continues beyond the present generation.

Mission Education is a programme of Wishers Foundation an NGO in India, which is committed to providing basic education and healthcare to underprivileged children. Wishers Foundation believes that whether you are addressing healthcare, poverty, population control, unemployment or human rights, there’s no better place to start than in the corridors of education.

Following a lifecycle approach, wishers Foundation works intensively through focused welfare projects in four major areas – child education, healthcare for families, skills training and livelihood for youth, and community engagement through women empowerment.

‘One day all children will attain an excellent education’- this is a vision that defines Shiksha, a Teach To Lead project that encourages young college graduates and professionals to take up two years of full-time teaching sessions in under-resourced schools. In an effort to provide quality education to all, Shiksha currently works in Gwalior under Kritika Saxena, the Secretary of ‘Wisher’s Foundation’ and is well- equipped with people who are working towards eradicating the high inequality present in the Indian education system.

She provides free education to 250 children in Gwalior, running their own four centres. They admitted these children to private and government school where the fees are sponsored by them. She imparts basic English language skills to children and teaches them to make paper bags by which these children can earn.
