Sriparna is a passionate Crochet Designer having 5yrs of exp in the fashion industry. She is owning her own company Aamani’s Crochet – Specialized in Crochet Fashion. Along with it she is associated as a Production Head & Lead Crochet Designer of Internationally famous Tantra Krafts, popular Brand in World of Crochet fashion. Sriparna also had 14 yrs of experience in Graphic Designing Industry. She worked with an IT company as a Lead of Graphics team. So there is no doubt about her creative mind.
Aamani’s Crochet a dream project of Mrs. Sriparna Das Chakraborty founded in the same year 2013, her little princess was born. Even she named it on her daughter – AAMANI, who was the inspiration behind to start Aamani’s Crochet. One day as Sriparna was crocheting for her excepting baby suddenly the idea clicked her mind to manufacture crochet apparels in a large scale. The journey begins!! Sriparna introduced the new concept of Crochet-Fabric fusion in her collections. In Premium range she has fabulous stuff with dazzling Zari Crochet & exclusive Crochet Beachwear. In regular segment Aamani’s Crochet manufacturing Crochet Garments for Women, Men & Kids. Its also introduced Home Decor, Apparel, Accessories, Bags, Shoes, Customized Gifts etc. As a designer she always thinks different from usual that’s why her Crochet Rakhi was a big HIT last year.
Responsibility towards the society to spread the essence of this truly hand knitted exquisite technique which is become obsolete in today’s date, pushed Sriparna to start her 1st Workshop on Crochet & Knitting for Kids, Parents and Grand Parents in 2017, as she believes there is no age bar of learning. It was a successful one with a nice association with Intellitots Early Learning Center, Gurgaon.
Sriparna’s another goal is to empower the lady artisans working with her in a way to give them the recognition they actually deserve. Here in Aamani’s Crochet she is also trying to find a new way to keep as many Indian women employed as possible with their very own and friendly skill – CROCHET.
Aims and Objective of Aamani’s Crochet

- To commercialize crochet garments in the main stream industry.
- To promote crochet as a premium range collection in the designer segment and share its elegance world-wide.
- To encourage self-help mutual aid and co-operation and strive hard for the betterment and uplift of the downtrodden artisans economically and socially.
- To provide better wages and profits to the artisans.
- To train new generation with the modern trend of crochet.
- To do all such acts as may be conducive to the betterment of the artisans.
