Inspiring Story -A proud moment for a Farmer –Dad as his 5 daughters are now in the Administrative Service

Sahdev Saharan, A farmer from Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan who could manage his education only till 8th standard while his wife was not able to manage her studies.

In 2021, three of his daughters Anshu, Suman and Reetu got admitted for administrative services of state. Roma and Manju, two other daughters of Sahdev are already working in the state services.

Anshu out shined with 31st rank, Reetu got 96th rank and suman got 98th rank. It is really a proud moment for their parents. Roma is elder daughter of saharan, she passed RAS exam in 2010 and became first RAS officer among all the sisters. Roma is presently a Block development officer at Sujangarh of Jhunjunu district where as Manju cleared her RAS exam in 2017 and serving in corporative department at Nohar, Hanumangarh.

Now, all the five girls, daughters of a farmer, Sahdev Saharan, are now Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) officers.

Sahdev Saharan and his daughters were congratulated by IFS officer Praveen Kaswan as he wrote, “Such a good news. Anshu, Reetu and Suman are three sisters from Hanumangarh, Rajasthan. Today all three got selected in RAS together. Making father & family proud”.

Chief minister of Rajasthan also congratulated all the family members, he wrote: “Congratulations to Jhunjhunu’s Mukta Rao, who topped #RASexam, Tonk’s Manmohan Sharma, Jaipur’s Shivakshi Khandal for securing 2nd & 3rd positions respectively & to all who have cleared the exam.”
