Krishna Janmashtami is around the corner, people are already set for the huge celebration. In India, this auspicious festival is celebrated with grandeur and devotion.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, most of us are celebrating Krishna Janmashtami at our homes.. For a great celebration, decoration is the first step. So we have some last minute interesting ideas for How to decorate Krishna jhanki at home?

1. Floral decoration

Flowers are best for every home decor, you just have to take different flowers such as marigolds, jasmine and roses. Make garlands of beautiful flowers, and adorn them around the Jhula. You can also put floral strings in your Pooja room for beautification.

2. Butter Pot decoration

Lord Krishna loves butter, you can use butter pots for decoration. You can decorate pot with colours & beads and hang them on the wall or you can put the decorated pots in the corner of the Pooja room.

3. Rangoli

Rangoli is one of the important elements of Indian culture. Don’t forget to make beautiful rangoli designs in front of your jhanki. You can make flute, peacock, Matka, Dahi-handi etc.
