Please share how you began your journey?
As a child I often witnessed dreams of me being an ardent Shaivite, who resided in the capital city of Delhi. As years passed the details of my dreams became more pronounced. On the other hand I was gripped by Deja vu leaving me confused and listless in the prime of my girlhood years. I was able to foresee events before they even took place, sometimes inclusive of unmatched clarity of date and time of the event. This in turn would worry me and left me sleepless for several nights in a row. My worried parents left no stones unturned to ensure that I could avail of a peaceful nights rest.
A little later, when I hit my teens, I was taken to a very learned Jain sage to seek his blessing on my thirteenth birthday. On recounting my experiences with the saint I discovered the boons of karma. The saint advised me to channel my energies by meditating on a regular basis and take to the path of helping others by using this gift mindfully.
As time flew by, my interest in the occult sciences grew, and I went to some of the best universities to master the art and tap into my psychic self. Now, being a Life Coach and helping people out in all the aspects of life gives me immense happiness.
What are the challenges you faced when you initially started your work?
The biggest challenge for me initially when I started my journey was that being a woman, people always interpreted my work in a wrong sense, Being a life coach and learning the occult sciences, I’ve always received comments like “She is a witch” and this is all black magic.
Although, I never let these come into my way of success and that’s something that has made me even stronger. I’ve always believed in what I do and that helped me ignore all the negativity that I initially received from people.
As a Life Coach I provide answers to my clients using my knowledge and experience in Tasseography (also known as coffee/cup and wine/ beer glass reading), Numerology, Tarot Card reading, I Ching, Rumes, Colour therapy, Dream interpretation, Crystal reading, Vastu Shastra, Fengsui and Drawing analysis. I mastered
these occult sciences in some of the best institutes in USA.
How was the support from family and your partner when you started your journey?
I’ve been very lucky in terms of all the love and support that I’ve received from my family, not only for my profession but with all the aspects of my life. My family has always been supportive
and that is something that keeps me motivated everyday to get up and work with all my heart.
What are your secrets of balancing both work and your me time?
It is quite tricky as I have to handle work and my kid simultaneously. I always try to work when my kid is either at school or playing or after I put him to bed. This way I can spend more time with him in his free time. When it comes to “me time” I often take a few days off and go on small holidays with my family which helps me with inner peace.
What are your future plans in next 5 years in terms of expansion of your business?
I look forward to expand my connections globally, especially Europe and USA so that I can help people across the world figure out what they actually need to do and achieve that. My goal is to work with businesses, start-ups, entrepreneurs and guide them throughout their business by helping them strategise, plan and make right decisions.
What are your tips for the fellow Moms in Business who want to start their own business?
Be persistent throughout your journey no matter what comes in your way. Sometimes, your family might not support you initially, but trust me as you go along, they will recognise the potential within you.
Not all journeys have a straight path to success, you might see a lot of obstacles on your way and might as well face the failure initially but that’s not the end. You need to get up, and put yourself out there again and believe in your work. There is a path for everyone.
