I’ve designed many homes of friends & family… Last when I was designing my Mother’s House in Gurgaon & It just stirred up new excitement, newer avenues, newer aspirations…
What I Love being where I am inspite of all the long hours, hardships, new challenges every day – is the unquestionable support and undettering faith of my family & friends.
Leaving a seven-figure job was never easy. With no cushion, I was already eating onto my finances and then further to invest would only do the damage more. So, I started my Business with absolute No Investment, No Debts, No Loans… To top it all with No Formal Technical Qualification.
There were days (Still are) when I’m at my deepest low… but my good karma brought my partner Sushma Ahuja in my life… Together we did our first project, it was quite a ride… Gave us lessons & learnings of many projects in one!!
About Richa Mongia
Richa’s entrepreneurial journey in Interior Designing started last July after she realised what her true calling was!!
She quit her 20 years of cushioned corporate life for the love of designing, innovation and to make her passion her profession as well. Even if it meant starting from the scratch.
Her area of expertise is Project Management, Attention to Detail, Eye for Perfection, People Management Skills, Ability to Negotiate, Budget Management, Problem Solving Skills and Strong Time Management Skills.
Technically, she is well versed in Ergonomic Technology, Schematic Designing, AutoCAD, 3Ds Max, Adobe Photoshop & MS Office 2010.
Professionally she is well versed with innovative designing, various designing styles (Mid-Century Modern, Vintage, Bohemian, Eclectic, Scandinavian, Industrial etc. Good Knowledge of materials, lighting and furniture inspired from sustainability and environment friendly designs.
Her Forte lies in decluttering spaces by organising and designing customised Modular kitchens, Wardrobes, Utilities Room etc.
She feels a woman should celebrate every phase of her life, be it her teenage or fabulous 40.
