Tahira Kashyap’s Poem On Her Battle With Cancer Is Truly Inspiring
Tahira Kashyap, a writer and director in her own right and actor Ayushamnn Khurrana’s wife, who is a cancer survivor after her battle with breast cancer, on Sunday, penned down a compelling poem titled Scars. On National Cancer Survivors Day, she posted an audio clip of herself narrating the poem on her official Instagram account.
She wrote, “A small something I have written… #nationalcancersurvivorsday. But hear me, there’s more to this scar, It talks also about the fight, the resilience, and your invincible power. My love and respect to those who fought, The treacherous battlefield that few crossed while some got lost.”
This is something I had experienced and written about. Joining this year’s theme of I AM AND I WILL, I urge you all to take notice of this day and spread awareness about early breast cancer detection and prevention #worldcancerday2021 #breastcancer #IAmAndIWill #WorldCancerDay pic.twitter.com/gXm8MwNGWJ
