Earlier this month, Actress Geeta Basra embraces her second child Jovan.

While talking to ETimes, she disclosed that her second child, whom she delivered this month, has born after two miscarriages. “My son Jovan is a rainbow baby” she added.

First miscarriage happened in the year 2019 followed by second in 2020. In both the occurrences, she was in her first trimester period. Her husband, Harbhajan was by her side during both the traumatic incidents. In 2019, he flew down from Punjab when Geeta called and informed him. Where as in 2020, they were together due to the lockdown.

“Howsoever early it happens, if it’s your first trimester, the loss is felt by the mother far more than anybody else connected to her” she said. She motivated all the women to not lose hopes and uplift themselves again after miscarriage. She tried to persuade all the ladies who suffered similarly, she said not to give-up and suffer in silence.

The two Traumatic years of Geeta’s life were terrible for her, she mentioned. It might take lot of time to heal from the effects of miscarriage. She described that after miscarriage, a woman’s hormones fluctuate a lot, which in turn, makes it extremely difficult for her to maintain her composure.

In addition to that, she kept herself strong and did not allow that meltdown to happen. Besides, she gave out a piece of advice mentioning that women have to learn to put this behind them in the quickest possible time.

“I decided to completely rest it out in the first trimester. I just took my vitamins and waited for the first three months to get over. After that, we came to Mumbai, and a little later, I took to yoga. That helped me a lot. Long works in the last trimester were a given. My gut instinct told me that this time all will go well. Touchwood, it did,” she said.
