Feeling Lost? Rediscover Your Kindness and Find Your True Path

Being kind was not taught to us, we were born kind, gentle and compassionate. We were so aware of this energy. Our focus was happiness and a carefree life. But slowly and gradually we learnt to be dependent on others for happiness and we were taught all that we are today. In the process we always saw life from the eyes of others, be it our parents, our siblings, our teachers and all others in society. We were always taught to follow our elders and teach our youngsters.

And this started becoming the base of our relationships. And based on others’ points of views of what was right and what was wrong, we started judging ourselves and others. We left our happiness behind, the joy of living died and we started struggling to make those points of views right which were never ours. And in this process we are now losing the bond with our loved ones. We are creating separation between ourselves and our families. We are paying a big price for stopping this awareness that was a gift to us from the universe. Anger, irritation, rage and revenge are soaring at their highest as we don’t know where it came from and what to do with these energies, how to come out of this.

The good news is my dear friends, all this can be healed. You can take baby steps to choose a happy life again and a wonderful world would be created where people would not judge each other and not fight with each other. Judgment is the biggest culprit where gratitude and kindness cannot exist. Honouring other’s choices gives them space to breathe and heals them from within. Be kind to yourself and to others. Never try to prove that you fit in with a certain set of people, in fact never try to prove anything to anyone. You are what you are. And when you accept people with all their flaws, they also accept you for being you. How many relationships have you chosen that were not contributing to you but the fear of being alone did not allow you to leave them, 90% of people would rather have a bad relationship than leave them and move on or choose to heal that relationship. This fear, this societal pressure, whispers lies about our worth. We start to believe that our value is tied to the approval of others, that solitude is a punishment. We forget the quiet strength that comes from knowing ourselves, from trusting our own instincts.

Embrace the silence, the moments of reflection, for within them lies the path back to your innate kindness. It’s all confusing because you are searching for that ideal love and perfect relationship..that never exists. My dear friends fill in gratitude and trust in your relationships and bring back the warmth. Live life before it’s too late. Remember, your journey back to kindness begins with self-compassion. Forgive yourself for the judgments you’ve made, the paths you’ve strayed from. Allow yourself the space to rediscover that gentle, compassionate heart that was always there, waiting to be awakened.
