How Parents can Support Children with Down Syndrome?

Down Syndrome kids have an extra copy of chromosome 21 and face a lot of challenges to live a happy and a healthy life. This genetic condition affects their body and brain and make them a different person with different abilities.
Most important is to accept them the way they are and not comparing them with any other child.
“Understanding their capabilities and trying to ensure you give them that comfortable friendly lovable environment so that they get that confidence to take their best out of them and also at the end assured that you are not judging them.” says Dr Ankita Sharma who is the Founder at Revival Healthcare Services.
Parents also face a lot of challenges , however some studies shows how they can overcome them.
