The newly released ad film by Dove brings out the real stories of women depicting the existing flaw in the Indian matchmaking process wherein the womenfolk have to go through the Beauty Test. It is indeed very hard hitting scenario for a woman when she has to go through the beauty based judgements at the time of marriage which hits badly on her self esteem and confidence.

The ad strongly brings out the conversations that appears to be normal for the society like the height of the girl is short, the color is dark, the face has scar etc what is depressing is that despite having so many amazing qualities a woman is expected to be beautiful inorder to get married.

Womenfolk had to face rejections owing to the predefined  notions of beautiful which is made by society. The ad voice out a strong message to stop this beauty test and look beyond it. It’s time to stop such unjust norms which makes a woman silently suffer.
